What do I do if I’ve forgotten my Careers username and/or password?
Click on the Forgot Password link on the Red Login Box and enter the email address that you used when you set up your Careers registration. Your username and password will be emailed to that address

What should I do if I’m unable to attach my CV to my profile on the Careers website?
Your CV should be in Microsoft Word format (doc) and be no larger than 1MB. If you’re unable to attach a CV, please complete your profile, apply for your specified vacancy and send your CV to careers@nzpost.co.nzstating your name and the role for which you are applying.

How do I apply for a job at New Zealand Post?
You can use our Find a Job search facility on the site to apply online for current vacancies at New Zealand Post. If there are no current vacancies that meet your requirements, you can register your details and create a profile for yourself and attach your C.V. Your profile and C.V. will be stored in our database and you can be emailed any time a job vacancy occurs that matches your preferences.

What happens after I apply for a job?
Once you’ve submitted your online application, we’ll send you an email or a letter confirming we’ve received it. The New Zealand Post recruiter who’s responsible for each job you apply for will assess your skills and experience and let you know how you’ve got on. If you’re not successful, we can keep your details in our database and contact you if a future position matches your skills.

How long will it take for someone to get back to me about a job I have applied for?
You’ll receive an automatic email confirming that we’ve received your application. If there’s a closing date for the position, you may not hear back until after that date. However, if you don’t hear back about your application, please contact the recruiter as specified in the advertisement, contact us.

How do I reset my expiry date when my Careers profile is about to expire?
Log in to your Careers account then click on My Profile. Then click on Reset Expiry Date to extend your profile for another three months.

To receive notifications of job vacancies, you need to be registered. Once registered you can set up Job Alerts as follows: log in to your Careers account and click on the My Profile link, then click on the Job Alerts link. Job Alerts allow you to receive email alerts for jobs matching your selected criteria. To set these up, click on Job Alerts and fill in the details.

How do I register my interest in working at New Zealand Post?
Click on Register at the top of his page. You’ll have to set up a username and password and give us a few more details; you can also attach a CV and cover letter. Once registered, you can apply for roles by clicking on Apply Now at the bottom of the job advertisement. To set up Job Alerts, which allow you to receive email alerts for jobs matching criteria that you select, click on Job Alerts in the Careers Centre box and fill in the details. If you’d like to change the email address to which the Job Alerts go, click on Update My Account

What do I need to include in my job application?
When you apply online you need to ensure that you complete all the fields and attach a copy of your CV; you can include a cover letter if you wish. If there is a questionnaire attached to the job application, you need to ensure that you complete this too.
