One of the largest pay increases ever for our frontline staff
People are at the heart of NZ Post and essential to our success as New Zealand’s largest delivery company. At a time when the cost of living is of great concern for many New Zealanders, it is more important than ever to invest in our people.
As of July 2022, we implemented one of the largest pay increases for our frontline workers ever. As a result, every NZ Post employee will be paid a sustainable wage.
Wages for entry-level positions have increased over 13%. As a result, these employees will take home approximately $120 more a week, making a meaningful difference to them and their families. Wage increases have also been rolled out to experienced and senior front-line staff too, as well as our mail delivery agents.
The new wages came into effect on the 1st July 2022 after the Collective Agreement was approved by the members of our Union partners E tū and PWUA.
